How do I update my default payment method?

To set your default payment on the Zipcar Mobile App, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Account tab at the bottom right of your Zipcar Mobile App
  2. Click on the Wallet tab in your Account Settings
  3. You will need to ensure your payment method has already been added to your wallet
  4. Select the payment method you would like to set as your default payment
  5. On the next screen, you will see two buttons: Remove or Set as Default
  6. Choose Set as Default and you should see the payment method updated as the default in your wallet

To set your default payment on the Website, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the My Account tab at the top right of the website
  2. Click on the Wallet tab
  3. You will need to ensure your payment method has already been added to your wallet
  4. Select the overflow menu on the payment method you would like to set as your default payment
  5. You will see two buttons: Remove or Set as Default
  6. Choose Set as Default and you should see the payment method updated as the default in your wallet

Keep In Mind

  • You must always have one payment method on file
  • You must always have one default payment method set
