To set your default payment on the Zipcar Mobile App, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Account tab at the bottom right of your Zipcar Mobile App
- Click on the Wallet tab in your Account Settings
- You will need to ensure your payment method has already been added to your wallet
- Select the payment method you would like to set as your default payment
- On the next screen, you will see two buttons: Remove or Set as Default
- Choose Set as Default and you should see the payment method updated as the default in your wallet
To set your default payment on the Website, follow the steps below:
- Go to the My Account tab at the top right of the website
- Click on the Wallet tab
- You will need to ensure your payment method has already been added to your wallet
- Select the overflow menu on the payment method you would like to set as your default payment
- You will see two buttons: Remove or Set as Default
- Choose Set as Default and you should see the payment method updated as the default in your wallet

- You must always have one payment method on file
- You must always have one default payment method set
