If you're in your Zipcar but are unable to start it, here are a few things to try:
- Make sure your foot is on the brake when turning the ignition or pressing the push-to-start button
- If the steering wheel is locked (you're unable to move it left or right), turn the wheel as far as you can to the right while trying to start the car
- Try unlocking the car again (even if you're inside it) using your iPhone® or Android™ mobile app or by tapping your Zipcard on the card reader
- If the car has a push-to-start ignition and the key is accessible, ensure it is within close proximity to the steering wheel when pushing the ignition button
- Confirm your booking time has not elapsed (if it has, you may need to create another booking or call in for assistance)
