For the best Zipcar experience, approved members should follow the steps below:
- Download our iPhone® or Android™ app to book your first trip and start driving.
- After you've booked your trip, the app may ask you to enable Location and Bluetooth. These permissions allow you to access the car.
- Use the mobile app to lock and unlock the car.
- Before you start driving, inspect your Zipcar inside and out and report any damage or other issues via our app or by calling us on 0333 240 9000.
- Fuel is included in your trip. You'll find the fuel card on the driver's side of the vehicle. Simply open the driver's side door, and follow the hinge of the door to the dashboard where you'll find a plastic holder with the grey fuel card.
- Return your Zipcar to its home location on time, clean, and with at least 1/4 tank of fuel to avoid extra fees.
- Trips include up to 60 miles per day in the UK.
