Recharging rewards:
You can get rewarded for recharging one of our EVs! Simply just charge an electric Zipcar during your trip, making sure to meet both of the following conditions:
- Increase the battery level by at least 20%
- End your trip with over 60% charge
Meet both of these conditions, and you’ll receive £20 driving credit. We’ll also cover the cost of charging — just like we cover the cost of fuel.
For example: if your trip starts with 45% charge and you return the car at 65%, you qualify — because you increased the charge by 20%, and ended above 60%.
How to claim:
Simply fill out this form, sharing with us proof of your charging transaction. This could be a photograph of the final screen on the charging unit, or an email confirmation (please note charging units vary, and most do not print receipts).

Did you know that we have over 1,000 Electric Vehicles (EVs)? And for our one-way option Flex, where most of our electric cars can be found, if you take a car for 6 hours or more our daily rate comes into effect - meaning you’ll pay nothing extra for keeping the car longer.

Offer and rewards are subject to change at Zipcar's discretion. To receive the £20 driving credit members must take a trip in one of Zipcar's electric vehicles, charge it at least once increasing the vehicle's charge level by a minimum of 20%, and end their trip with the vehicle on 60% or more charge level. Credit issued at Zipcar's discretion. Eligible for approved Zipcar members only. Vehicles with in-bay charging at their Car Club Bay are eligible only for charges carried out mid-trip (i.e. not a charge that takes place in their Car Club Bay). If the member pays for the cost of charging, they should follow the usual fuel and charge refund procedure.
