If you want to reopen a previously closed account, you will need to open the old account rather than create a brand new one; to do this:
- Log in to Zipcar and head to ‘My Account’ located at the top of the page and then select 'Account Settings'
- Select ‘create a personal account’ followed by ‘I want to re-open an existing account’
- If it has been a while since we last saw you, you may be prompted to submit some documentation (this will be fully explained when applying)
- Once you have submitted your application, you will get a response within 48 hours
As this is not an instant process, we would advise reopening your account with plenty of time before your desired trip.
