Reopening my Zipcar Account

If you want to reopen a previously closed account, you will need to open the old account rather than create a brand new one; to do this:

  1. Log in to Zipcar and head to ‘My Account’ located at the top of the page and then select 'Account Settings'
  2. Select ‘create a personal account’ followed by ‘I want to re-open an existing account’
  3. If it has been a while since we last saw you, you may be prompted to submit some documentation (this will be fully explained when applying)
  4. Once you have submitted your application, you will get a response within 48 hours

As this is not an instant process, we would advise reopening your account with plenty of time before your desired trip.
