How do I reopen my account?


If at any time you wish to reopen a previously closed account, you will need to open your old account rather than create a brand new one.

Simply log into and head to 'My Stuff' located at the top of the page. Then click on 'Create a personal account' followed by ‘I want to re-open an existing account’. If you're not reopening a recent Zipcar account, you may be prompted to submit documentation, all of which is explained fully on the application.

Once you have submitted your application, you will get a response within 48 hours from our New Member’s team, however it is usually much quicker than this.

As this is not an instant process, we would urge you to reopen the account well in advance of your desired trip to ensure everything runs smoothly for your first reservation.
